After some great rains we had a smaller but stronger market, with especially strong demand for store cattle.
Heavy steers ranged $2.80 to $3.60 per kg with heifers $2.70 to $3,40. Feeder steers were $3.10 to$3.60 and heifers up to $3.30.
Stores were very strong with steers topping at $4.42 and heifers $4.00 per kg.
Cows were also strong ranging from $2.60 to $3.03 per kg.
