Market Report 27th January 2021

Alec Rainnie from Prostock Central in the Northern Territory is in Adelaide this week and reports on a strong market of very good quality cattle.

Heavy steers ranged from $3.58/kg to $3.89/kg, heifers were $3.20/kg to $3.77/kg.

Feeder steers ranged up to $4.61/kg with heifers ranging to $4.55/kg.

Lighter cattle were up 30 to 30 cents topping at $5.15/kg for steers and $4.91/kg for heifers.

Cows ranged from $2.50/kg to $3.09/kg, Bulls were from $2.50/kg to $2.85/kg
